Assembly on my Sole E95 2009 model. It took about 4 hours to open the window to power the unit for the first time. Here are some suggestions:
1. The assembly process is not complex, but requires reasoning a bit 'mechanical' (understood as a schematic) to fill the many gaps in the instructions. If you are able to assemble a more difficult piece of Ikea furniture, then you should have no problem.
2. The kit of quality components are the necessary tools (wrench, screwdriver), but realistically these instruments are too poor to be effective. If you do not own instruments, which could be a signal that we should not work on this project.
3. I opened the box and transported out of the home games. Technically it could bring in box, but it would be difficult and requires 2-3 people. You can use a hand truck to carry the window but the window is too wide (34 ") to pass through the doors more. The heaviest part is the flywheel assembly. You can rotate the wheel and pull one person but that does not work under way on the stairs.
4. There are four basic steps of installation: the connection to the rear frame assembly of the flywheel, flywheel meeting places to connect, connect the arms and attach the plastic covers many.
5. The most difficult step was to connect the place to mount the flywheel. In this step, you need to feed the wires through the mail, all through a sliding plastic cover and slide in the Assembly where it can be connected with arrows to fly (making sure to tighten the bolt fourth already in place). The trick is to make sure that the cables are routed to the right channel in place otherwise you will get pinched during the insertion of the post. It is also appropriate to leave the foam insert in place at all times when working with the bolts. When the wire did not fit well, I had to remove the bolts and since I already removed the foam, I lost a bolt fastening the flywheel. This required me to remove the plastic around the flywheel to retrieve the bolt (taking 20 min).
6. Connect the cables to the control panel assumes that the user knows how to connect the small connector correctly. The wires going to the hand rails are not marked on the right or left. I do not know if it's important. Everything worked properly when finished so maybe I got lucky.
7. Instructions to talk a bit 'of an eyelet to be inserted into the post to protect the wire going to the handrail. Can not find a loop in the kit of components assembled in one even thinking that I had to call again later. Discovers that the cycles were in the bag with the power cord (the last bag open), so I had to remove the plastic cover to insert the eyelet (more time).
8. That connects the cover plate with plastic screws is difficult because the holes are deep and the screw can not find the hole. Using a screwdriver small magnet is very useful because once the screw is locked to the screwdriver, you can insert into the hole slowly, taking care to keep the screw in the center.
9. E 'includes a tube of lubricant. The instructions do not mention what to do with lube, but I hope it's just for the rails back.
Luckily nothing was damaged or missing. That was my biggest fear to start this project. Fingers crossed and hope everything stays working.
