We originally bought the Spole E55 in 2008, but then we have the model of a relative and upgraded to the Sole E95. We love the update screen and covers the rail and also at additional cost, there are still about one third of the cost of a Precor. I have included our review Sole E55 original reference and hope that it will be helpful to buyers perspective:)

My wife and I searched and searched for an elliptical because we were fed with enrollment in Equity gym and do not use. Having to go to the gym just was not practical for us. So we embarked on a quest to find the quietest, most reliable and feature packed elliptical we could find Sole E95.

Our budget was 2K or less. Online research led us to many brands and models of many - too many actually. It 'been a dizzying array of choices. So we decided to visit fitness equipment stores and sporting goods stores to try a few ellipticals in person. The fitness stores carried mostly high-end brands like Precor, which we liked, but they were way out of our price range. Also, after looking at the fine print, we noticed that anticipated only come with a warranty of 1 year. After that, the frame is good for 10 years, but Sole E95 parts and Sole E95 labor are borne by the owner!

Sporting goods stores turned up the typical mass-market brands like Reebok, Proform, Horizon, Ironman, and New Balance. Most were pretty flimsy feeling and wobbly or the past just did not feel well. Reebok ellipticals came up, but did not offer wireless heart rate monitor and the pace still was not right. Our eureka moment came to Dick's sporting goods when we noticed one brand that we had never seen before, the Sun had the Sole E55 model on display and we tried. He felt very solid and the step was natural. There was very little heel lift which is a key component for a low-impact workout - also, the skates are adjustable which virtually eliminates any heel lift. I was also pleased that the Sun was elliptical handles both handheld and wireless chest strap heart rate monitor. Sole E95, this is important not only to improve your strength, but also provides exercise. Sole E95 is also a great HRC program that varies the resistance based on heart rate in order to maintain a steady heart. Sole E95 is the best.
